HYPOGLYCEMIA IN DIABETES
WHAT’S THE ROLE OF C-PEPTIDE IN HYPOGLYCEMIA?
C-peptide measurements are an increasingly useful aid in the diagnosis of hypoglycemia. C-peptide also appears to be a useful biomarker to assess the risk of hypoglycemia in type 1 diabetes and in insulin-treated type 2 diabetes. It can also assist in management of insulin therapy by providing indications about when treatment intensification is warranted.
In this webinar, Prof. Brian Frier provides an extensive review of C-peptide production and its physiology, explores its application in diabetes.
ADVANCES IN TECHNOLOGY FOR MONITORING GLYCEMIC CONTROL
In this new webinar, Professor Brian Frier will give a comprehensive review on innovative glucose monitoring methods and its advantages and limitations.
